One of the few in the world and the only research institute in the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of catalysis;<\/p>\n\n\n

The Institute is a legal entity in the form of a joint-stock company, 100% of whose shares are owned by Kazakhstan-British Technical University JSC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently, the General Director of the Institute is Zhurinov Murat Zhurinovich — Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Institute has 10 laboratories equipped with high-precision equipment<\/p>\n\n\n

The personnel potential is represented by more than 100 researchers, with a degree of more than 50% (academicians of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, doctors and candidates of science, PhD )<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the moment of foundation to the present day, for more than half a century, a team of scientists, owners of a huge number of inventions, copyright certificates and international patents, has carried out many implementations of developments in industry and implemented hundreds of major government and commercial projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Priority activities of the Institute: 
— Deep processing of hydrocarbon and mineral resources; — Corrosion; — Ecology and environmental protection; — Renewable energy; — Modeling of technological processes with the creation of digital twins on their basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Institute’s research is carried out taking into account global trends and competes with the developments of a similar direction of the largest research centers and companies in the world. The scientific achievements of the institute have received high international recognition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
